How do I change my email or phone number?

  1. Go to Profile › Settings › Security › Sign-in methods and tap “Change” next to the email or phone number.
  2. Type the new one and tap “Send me the code”. The code goes to the new one, not the old one.
  3. Type the 6 digits (valid for 10 minutes) and tap “Confirm”. If it doesn’t arrive, tap “Send another code”.
  4. Once you confirm, the old one no longer works for signing in. If the app says the old one was kept too, tap “Remove” next to it.
  5. If that email or number is already on another account, the app tells you and doesn’t link it.
